About:
THE JOURNEY—Soli Deo Gloria
I believe every piece of art “speaks!” Mine speaks of my JOURNEY. In one season, I was a
thriving mural artist, and in another, I laid down my brush and did not paint for nearly fifteen
years. I had stumbled into an unpredictable “dark” place. Crippled by fear and illness, I found
myself unable to create. I felt stuck, as I was deeply entrenched in grief and depression. While I
knew God loved me, I struggled to find my footing.

As I searched amid the darkness, I encountered the fierce love of God. And the Light of Jesus
began a transforming work in me. In my newfound freedom I began to create again, fully
surrendered to the purpose for which I was created… To worship my Creator! I began painting for an audience of the One who I believe left the ninety-nine to rescue me. And my art became an act of worship to King Jesus. My art speaks of my Journey. The path at times had been rough, rocky with many expected twists and turns. But the ultimate and true destination to joy was to find the heart of God.
